How long have you been in business?
The ITA was founded in 1983. Our Academy moved to it’s current location January 2008.
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary service is our Taekwondo classes. These classes teach a tradition martial art, self defense, and life skills including, self confidence, and leadership.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
In high school some of my friends were doing another marital art that got me interested. From there I found the ITA Academy fit me best. I quickly fell in love with it and changed my plans from working with computers to run a Taekwondo Academy.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have a full time staff dedicated to the Academy. All our instructors go through continuing education. We have specialized classes that are separated by age and rank to promote maximum learning.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
There are two Tiger Rock Academies in Pensacola, one in gulf Breeze, and one in Pace. In the world there are over 200 Tiger Rock Academies, you can find location with the Academy Finder on www.itaonline.com We are looking to add more locations.

Our location is off of 12th ave., across from the airport behind Bone Fish Grill, and Norwalk Furniture.

We take credit, debit, checks, or cash.
Which areas do you service?
We service all of Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, and Pace.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The center manager and lead instructor is Eric McShannon.
What are your hours of operation?
We are reachable by phone 8am-8pm classes run at convent times Monday through Saturday.
